Veal Marsala

1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 pounds veal, scaloppini cut, pounded thin with mallet
6 tbsp. butter, melted
3/4 cup sweet Marsala wine
1 pound mushrooms
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Clean and slice mushrooms and sauté them in 2 tbsp. melted butter. Add 3/4 cup Marsala wine and cook over low flame for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until alcohol burns off.

Flour veal on both sides. Heat 6 tbsp. butter in frying pan. Shake off excess flour and sauté veal on both sides, lightly, over medium to low heat.

Pour wine and mushrooms with the veal, and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with pepper and plate. Serves 4 to 6.
