Our Mom adds peanut butter to these treats, which brings them to a whole new level.

 

1 stick butter or margarine

10 0z package of Miniature Marshmallows

1/4 cup creamy Peanut Butter ( adjust to taste )

9 cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal

 

In large saucepan ( dutch oven ) melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows stir until melted—add peanut butter and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Add Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.

Using hand moistened with water  ( that’s what I do ) a buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cool. Cut into 2-inch squares or desired shape. Best if served the same day but leftovers keep well covered with plastic wrap.
