A delicious new recipe! I’ve perfected homemade chicken fried rice. Yum
Sesame oil
3 cups dry jasmine rice
Vegetable oil
Soy sauce
Garlic
4 eggs
Chicken
Carrots
Scallions (white tops for sauté and green ends for sprinkling in at the end, prep in 2 different bowels.)
Sesame seeds
Salt and pepper
1.) Steam jasmine rice in rice cooker and set aside
2.) Prep: carrots, scallions, garlic, & chicken.
3.) Scramble 4 eggs with sesame oil, veg oil, & garlic (set aside)
4.) Cut chicken into small cubes and sauté in same pan with sesame oil, veg oil, & garlic (set aside)
5.) Using same pan cook carrots, scallions with with sesame oil, veg oil, & garlic (set aside)
6.) Using same pan fry rice in vegetable oil, sesame oil & soy sauce until coated and you have a nice color. Season with salt and pepper. Add all other ingredients, toss and serve hot. Top with sesame seeds.
